Spreader

By Bruce Clifford

You drove around town
You’re a spreader
Moving all around
You’re a spreader
You’re a spreader

Nothing gets in your way
Every careless mistake
You’ve got nothing to say
I don’t remember your name

There’s always an excuse
Not a care in the world
You’ll get by

You took off and ran
You’re a spreader
The sh*t hit the fan
You’re a spreader
You’re a spreader

Never getting a break
The memories you shake
Free from the give and take
A reminder of today

Super spreader gifts in your goodie bags
The air from your bounce house drifts alone in the wind and sags

You drove around town
You’re a spreader
Moving all around
You’re a spreader
You’re a spreader
