I Don't Know Who I Am Anymore

By Bruce Clifford

I don’t know who I am anymore
I don’t remember where I came from
So lost, don’t know of a cure
I don't know who I am anymore

I don’t know what I lost or I found
I don’t know If I will ever come around
Deep in thought, not knowing what this is all for
I don’t know who I am anymore

I’m not sure how these years have passed by
I can’t remember the last time I cried
The days and the nights of this daily grind
It’s so hard to tell who am I

I don’t know who I am anymore
I don’t recall what this journey was for
Feeling lost, alone and obscure
I don’t know who I am anymore

I don’t know why I never did reach
All the happy people I wanted to teach
Every morning I wait to be ignored
I don’t know who I am anymore

I don’t know how I ever got by
I can’t remember the last time I tried
Empty dreams and such a deep divide
It’s so hard to tell who am I

I don’t know who I am anymore
I don’t remember where I came from
So lost, don’t know of a cure
I don’t know who I am anymore
