The time we split this into two
The many things we have to do

I catch the word falling off of your lips
I feel the waves bouncing around distant ships
And in the end I know what to do

I watched this life swish side to side
I touch the air as I smell the tide
And in the end I know what is true
This balancing act with you

The time we crossed the emergence of the few
The left over ideas we fell onto
