Many Centuries

By Bruce Clifford

Over the many centuries
True love always forgives
In our hearts true love lives
Oh, over the many centuries

Blinded by heartache and pain
Wanting to get past this again
Every moment my heart's in a knot
That's all that i've got
That's all I've got today

Whisked away with the wind
Coming up feeling empty again
So wish you could believe
All the love that I see
So many moments between you and me

Sometimes I think you're oh so close
I can tell by the words you choose that you are there, almost
Sometimes it's the way you look at me
But when you blame me for everything that's gone wrong
my heart explodes in pain
I don't think I can go through that again

Blinded by heartache and pain
Wanting to find happiness again
Every moment my hearts in a knot
That's all I've got
That's all I've got

Over the many centuries
True love always forgives
In our hearts true love lives
Oh, over the many centuries
