Living differently, yet the same

There's the heart in me
And the heart in you
Picking up the pieces that still remain

In this parallel world we live in
We are so in love
But the reality we are living
Maybe it's just not enough

There's a piece of you
And a piece of me
Sharing passion every day

There's my love for you
And your love for me
Somehow our worlds are going to change

In this parallel world we live in
We are as close as two can be

Leaves me lonely and empty
