Nothing is a Void

By Bruce Clifford

The pecking order one by one
The heinous slaughter under the sun
Count your ambition and tiresome ways
Mocking the world and I am not your son
Mocking the world and I am not your son

The games of treason taken to the point
The apathetic reasons of the girls and boys
Taking the train across the abyss
Mocking the world and it goes like this
Mocking the world and it goes like this

Nothing is a void where kings and tyrants rule and destroy empty villages
Nothing is a void
Nothing can be destroyed
Nothing is a void

The pecking order two by two
The heater and the foil are breaking through
Count your ambiance in your tiresome ways
Shocking the world as it stands today
Shocking the world as it stands today

The games of treason taken to the point
The apathetic reasons of the girls and boys
Taking the train across the abyss
Mocking the world and it goes like this
Mocking the world and it goes like this

Nothing is a void where kings and tyrants rule and destroy empty villages
Nothing is a void
Nothing can be destroyed
Nothing is a void

The pecking order one by one
The heinous slaughter under the sun
Count your ambition and tiresome ways
Mocking the world and I am not your son
Mocking the world and I am not your son

Nothing is a void
Nothing is a void
Nothing is a void
Nothing is a void
