Writing The Column

Grabbing a pen and beginning to jot notes,
Things to remember and a few quotes,
Getting my column for the month again,
Writing my thoughts is seldom a pain.

There's weather and family and fun things to try,
And sometimes a story that makes one cry,
But always I'm sharing right from the heart,
And sometimes my column seems the best part.
