Walk WIth Me
By
Bruce Clifford
It's not bad being down
It's not bad when you're the clown
I can't take this rapid eye wall
I can't shake the feeling of the fall
It's not bad when living large
It's not too easy, and it isn't very hard
I can't take this feeling of waste
I can't make any sense of this taste
Walk with me through the visions of time
Talk to me as you shift your bottom line
Walk with me in and out of this room
Give to me all the things I gave to you
Walk with me
It's not bad when I'm being the clown
It's not very easy when everyone else is bringing you down
I'm not the one who brought you pain and doubt
I'm not the one, but I'm here if you need to scream and shout
Walk with me through the visions of time
Talk to me as you shift your bottom line
Walk with me in and out of this room
Give to me all the things I gave to you
Walk with me
Walk with me and I will show you what I see
Talk to me and maybe the two of us could believe
Walk with me in and out of the season
Showing your emotions without giving reasons
It's not bad being down
It's not bad when you're the clown
I can't take this rapid eye wall
I can't shake the feeling of the fall
