Love and Laughter

By Bruce Clifford

I can't decide if I would rather be on the moon
In the end would we be singing the same old tune
Love and laughter and the fighting to be free
The ultimate disaster and in the end we knew this is how it would be

So get on with living and let the tonic take you down
The levels are toxic as you walk through this old and dirty town

I can't believe this is happening once again
The silence of the pain in each corner of this world we
try to defend Love and laughter and the fighting to be free
And what came after was like ships passing in the night like you and me

So, get on with living and let the tonic take you in
The levels are toxic as you look around again and again

Love and laughter
I heard it all before
Love and laughter
Remind me again that I've been here before
When I walk through that door
