Ride The Wave

By Bruce Clifford

The mind gets kind of fuzzy
The energy and drive
Talking in total silence
It always does arrive

The mystery walks side by side
Together hand in hand
Hear the voice justified
Exactly where we stand

Ride the wave and show me the signs
Ride the wave of persistence until you get out of this thing alive
Ride the wave of courage and of time
Ride the wave to discourage a life of crime

Take me to a movie
Show me around your town
Show me the silence
Wear your worn out crown

Ride the wave and show me who you are
Ride the wave and take me to a nearby star
Ride the wave in between the valley and the sea
Ride the wave into tomorrow's history
