You made the world safe again
Allowing me to breathe again
Feeling free and alive

Like the smell of first rain
You made the sun shine again
Allowing me to see again
We never have to try

Thank you for being here
A cup of coffee and smile from far away
Thank you for being near
You made it clear
There's nothing to fear anymore

As this day turns to new
Now I know you're the one who helped me through
And when you're not here
The one thing that's clear
