Full Deck

By Bruce Clifford

You're not playing with a full deck
You let me down like I expected
The science inside your empty, shallow mind
Creating this void as you gather up all the souls you find

You're not playing with the ace of spades
A hand full of jokers and false charades
Emotionally bound to this circle of time
Cheating the hand as you collect all of the memories inside

You're not playing with a full deck
You're not playing with the queen of hearts on the line
You're not playing with a full deck
You're not playing with the money card this time

You're empty and calculating
You're innocent in your own state of mind
You're cold yet captivating
You're innocence was lost years before you could decide

You're not playing with a full deck
You're not playing with the queen of hearts on the line
You're not playing with a full deck
You're not playing with the money card this time

You're not playing with a full deck
You're not playing with a full house or four of a kind
You're not playing with a full deck
You're not playing with the king of diamonds this time
