The Sun Touching The Sea

By Bruce Clifford

Can you hear the sun touching the sea
Is there a place beyond this mystery
Can you feel these moments in the sky
Are you trapped in a place you meant to hide

Can you hear the sun touching the sea
Is there an end to your silent history
Can you smell the flowers in the spring
Are you wobbling like a puppet on a string

The sun is touching the sea.
We can hear it you and I
Look towards the sky

Can you hear the moon light on the sand
Is this the place where two can walk hand in hand
Can you expose the magic of the sea
v Are you caught in the middle of things that were meant to be

Can you hear the sun touching the sea
Is there a place beyond this mystery
Can you feel these moments in the sky
Are you trapped in a place you meant to hide
