Between Our Souls

It's been so long since I've thought of you
So much time has passed between us two
Sometimes in my dreams you whisper in my ear
You bring a smile to my face and wipe away a tear

It's hard to believe that I found you
We got caught up in a world that left us both confused
One day our time will come to walk beneath the sun
The past gets further away as the future has only begun

Where ever we have been
No matter where we will go
There will always be a connection between our souls

You would never believe what I have been through
Once I fell off the earth but came back with a new attitude
Tell me about your love's and the story of your life
I know I have thought of you more than once or twice

Whatever you have been through
The future has never been told
There will always be a connection between our souls

I miss the days when you would smile at me
I still have a photograph kept for eternity

Where ever we have been
No matter where we will go
There will always be a connection between our souls
