I first began writing for "Chicken Soup for the Soul" when one of their books said to visit their web site if you'd like to submit a story. After I lost my son in 1999, I had connections with him in dreams, etc. They had some books coming out relating to those things, so I submitted a story or two and was accepted! They pay for a story, so I would visit the web site, which lists the books they plan to publish(subjects)and I would submit stories for them. All told I've been published in twenty-two "Chicken Soup for the Soul" books, some of them having more than one of my stories. For instance, I have four stories in their Grief, Loss and Recovery book.

I've also had poetry published in various small magazines over the years. I am widowed... have 11 grandchildren and lost count of the great-grandchildren!
