I Don't Even Know

By Bruce Clifford

I’m not sure what you’re going through
You’re too distant to be in my point of view
I’m not sure what you’re all about
Are you lost, lonely down and out?

I’m not sure if you have voices in your head
There’s no way to know if you’re amongst the living or the dead
I’m not sure if you’re walking in your sleep
Are you consumed when walking in the streets?

I don’t even know your name
I don’t know your story
I don’t know your fame

I don’t even know your name
I don’t know your friends
I don’t know your game

I’m not sure what you’re going through
You’re so silent like a lonely recluse
I’m not sure if you could ever let it out
Are you hidden amongst the circus clowns

I’m not sure if you have visions in your eyes
It’s too uncertain to know if you could ever decide
I’m not sure if you know how to believe
Are you crying when nobody can see

I don’t even know your name
I don’t know your story
I don’t know your fame

I don’t even know your name
I don’t know your friends
I don’t know your game

I don’t even know
