Don't Know What to Believe

By Bruce Clifford

Are you sure it was a dream
I don’t much about anything
The price of reason the cost of the theme
I don’t know what to believe

Faithful and pure
The words that endure
Time is timeless
Every second there’s more

Are you sure it was a dream
I don’t know much about mysteries
The moment you capture the shadows and breeze
I still don’t know what to believe

I don’t know what to believe anymore
What really matters is what we’re living for

Are you sure it wasn’t the sky
I don’t know any other reason not to try
The night is reaching out to capture your dreams
I still don’t know what to believe
