Two Rooms

By LinnieJane Burks

"Two rooms--how drab!" you say,

      And gaze at it with careless scorn;

"Quite obviously it didn't come
      From Where the latest fashion arts are born!"

But, "Stop! Please curb your foolish jibes,

      That tongue cuts at firm foundations laid;

You cannot see it all in chair and rug,
      You're speaking of a home that love has made."
