Don't Mind Me

By Bruce Clifford

Don't mind me if I seem empty
Don't mind me at all
Remember me when I was full of life
Before I fell to the floor

Don't mind me If things are no longer simple
Don't mind me anymore
Remember me when I was full of laughter
Before you walked out that door
Don't mind me

Don't mind me, it's not what I intended it to be
Life was supposed to be carefree
Remember me when I was full of promise
Before you stepped on my heart
Don't mind me

Don't mind me, it's hard for you to see
This heartache has changed me
I don't remember how I used to be
Before you broke all your promises
Don't mind me

Don't mind me and my heart in little tiny pieces
Continue on your way, it wasn't meant for you to stay
Don't mind me, my heart will find a new start
