Mother of My Grandchild Yet to Be

By Mark Crocker

Mother of my grand child yet to be
Daughter of mine I hold so dear
For you my child I would walk to the ends of the earth
You carry my reward and for that I thank you

Mother of my grand child yet to be
You fill me with pride at your new sight
I hold you so dear in my heart my daughter
Mother to be daughter of mine

Mother of my grand child yet to be
Such a little things yet it fills you up with light
Mother to be daughter of mine
What grows with you brings such delight

Mother of my grand child yet to be
You shine so bright all can see
My sweet dear daughter I thank you so
You brought me such wonder and joy

Mother of my grand child yet to be
So fair and beautiful filled with life that makes you glow
Growing within you my grand child
For this I hold you so high

Mother of my grand child yet to be
Fear not for all I do I have done for you
All that I am I give to you
Mother of my grand child yet to be
