This is my Life

By Bruce Clifford

I think I will call and fly away
Getting by on life today
Touch me, feed me, make it real
Never tell me how to feel

I think I'm turning inside out
My inner soul wants to scream and shout
Hold me gently in your heart
Even though we're worlds apart
That's a great place to start

This is my life
This is your life
If you're letting go too soon

Rock me gently
Keep me steady
Living on the edge in the panic room

This is my life
This is our life
Open your eyes to see the sun

Rock me gently
Roll me slowly
Sipping tea on a hot afternoon

I think I will call it a day
In the end there's nothing left to say
Touch me, heal me, make true love shine
Together as our two worlds collide

This is my life
This is your life
If you're letting go too soon

Rock me gently
Keep me steady
Living on the edge in the panic room

This is my life
Tell me what you see
This is my room
Tell me what is real and what is make believe

This is my life
This is your life
If you're letting go too soon

Rock me gently
Keep me steady
Living on the edge in the panic room

I think I will call and sail away
Are you coming with me or will you stay
My inner soul reaches out to you
Sipping tea on a hot afternoon
