There Is A Constant Struggle

There is a constant struggle

That goes on day and night

Of what I know with what I feel,

One part of my brain with another,

Or my body with my mind.

Whatever name I put upon this fight,

It sometimes dominates my life

And leaves me indeterminate.

Rationality is cold company.
