It May Be Time for Service

“Our records show it may be time for service.”
I get this postcard once a month,
Mailed by a local maintenance garage
Reminding me my car needs care.

But when I stop to ponder
What these words intend to say,
I wonder if my heart is tasking me,
Reminding me my world needs care,

And think that though I cannot mend
The entire world myself,
The part I see before me
I know I could do something to repair.
