Freedom of the Seas

By Bruce Clifford

Winds of destruction far out at sea
The ocean air invades this space and memory
Freedom of the seas is hard to define
It wasn't long ago when I first looked into your eyes

Remembering your face and the lines within your dreams
Voices of tomorrow are not what they might seem
Reach your soul out towards me and point us to the sky
Freedom of the seas and keeping us alive

I could dream but I refuse to see
I could run but I choose to be
I could drown but I fall right in
I could survive if I could look inside your eyes

Talk to me tonight and today will melt away
Stay with me tomorrow and we might live for another day
Open your heart up to me and I will take it for a ride
Freedom of the seas will keep us wrapped up in time

Remembering your face and the lines within your dreams
Voices of tomorrow are not what they might seem
Reach your soul out towards me and point us to the sky
Freedom of the seas and keeping us alive
