Can't Let Go

By Bruce Clifford

Open the door
Lift a finger
Cry to me some more
Make it linger

I'm not in shock
Just to let you know
You're on the block
Can't let this go
Can't let it go

Let it go
I wanted to say
You had to know
I've been drifting away

I'm not your first
Won't be the last
When you hunger and thirst
You will fly and cast

I'm not in shock
Just to let you know
You're on the block
Can't let this go
Can't let it go
No, no, no
Can't let it go

Can't let go of the dreamer in me
or let go of the powers in me
or let go of the timing in me
Let go of who you thought I could be
Can't let go
Can't let go
