To Forgive

To forgive is something the bible tells us to do,
But it is hard to forgive someone that’s hurt you.
My problem is I allow hate to tear my life apart.
Hate destroys the love and peace in my heart.
I’ve asked God to help me to forget and forgive,
And when I do forgive, it improves the way I live.
So, to forgive someone can be very hard to do,
But you can forgive by asking God to help you.
So, if you want to live with peace in your heart,
Getting on your knees to pray is a good start.
